A Resounding Success

At the COVERINGS 2024 event, our commitment to environmental sustainability was demonstrated through our offering of Crystalline Silica Free Surfaces, which incorporate recycled materials and minerals. This initiative reflects our care for the planet and our responsibility towards it. These surfaces meet the growing demand for eco-friendly building materials, providing consumers with safer and more sustainable options that create safer work environments without sacrificing design style or product quality. Additionally, these products have received certifications such as GREENGUARD Gold, indicating their suitability for use in sensitive environments such as schools and hospitals.

On-site, we showcased a wide range of quartz products, including Calacatta quartz, renowned for its luxurious marble-like appearance and unique veining, making it a popular choice for both residential and commercial spaces. At our exhibition, we proudly displayed an array of twelve unique products from our Calligraphy and Natural collections. The Calligraphy Collection includes PMC1622GJ, PMC1633GJ, PMC1673GJ, and PMC1677GJ, each exuding its own unique charm.

The appeal of Calacatta quartz lies in its durability and aesthetic versatility, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into various design schemes, from modern kitchens to elegant bathroom vanities. This material is not only appreciated for its resistance to scratches and stains but also for its low maintenance needs, which do not require the regular sealing necessary for natural stones.

Our exhibition serves not only as a showcase for our products but also as a hub for networking and the exchange of ideas, underpinning our commitment to innovation and excellence in the stone industry.

5 Design Tips For Lighting Quartz Countertops In Commercial Spaces

Lighting has a considerable impact on commercial spaces, especially when displaying quartz countertops. Indeed, the color temperature significantly influences the perception of the stone and the customers. For quartz countertops, a color temperature between 3000K and 3500K is usually preferred because it provides a warm and inviting glow. Warm tones emphasize the rich colors and veining of the stone without altering its natural color. The hue and its intensity should remain unchanged. When designing the lighting for quartz countertops in commercial settings, lumens, which are the measurement of total visible light, are essential to consider. In task areas on kitchen counters or in display settings, the fixture should provide between 300 and 500 lumens per square foot. LED lights are often used because they are up to 75% more efficient than incandescent lighting and last 25 times longer.

5 Reasons Quartz Countertops Are Eco-Friendly

As a whole, quartz countertops are associated with sustainability mostly due to the low-impact mining. Quartz differs from other minerals and materials largely because there is less ecological disruption. The abundance of quartz and shallow depths at which it is found make it a more sustainable material to mine. This implies that less energy and fewer mechanisms are used in mining, which, as a result, does not have a negative ecological footprint.

8 Ideas For Integrating Quartz Into Modern Home Designs

Quartz is a popular choice in cases of monochromatic designs, not only for its aesthetic elevation but also for making the maintenance simpler. In a New York apartment, the designers used white quartz for both the countertop and the cabinetry, with the same material used for the flooring. The white monochrome is not only slick and appealing but highly durable, and facilitates the feeling of space. Specifically, the desire to continue the countertop up the wall to create an equally white backsplash would feel much less impressive if another material was used.
